1. Stop being self hating or critical 

It's good to be aware of gaps and fix them but it's detrimental to be self hating or self critical all the time.

Stop and catch your thoughts that tell you 

"I am not good enough"

"I am a failure"

"I am not worthy"

"They don't like me and I will be embarrassed"

"No one will call me"

And so on, no matter how many setbacks you have had. Never make it about you. It could be actions that you can change, it could be people that were misaligned. Self depleting thoughts can break anyone.

2. Stop taking toxicity 

Someone has the liberty to pass a crude remark at you. Someone attacks you, takes your credit and says sorry, Someone else takes you always granted and never appreciates you in public.

If this is happening to you, stop it. When you take toxicity, you tell your brain to pass this as normal, the more you are at the receiving end the more worse it gets


3. Stop seeking validation to derive sense of self 

External validation from other people are subjective. Sometimes they will give you all the good validation and at other times some people will attack you. The external validation is always fickle, sometimes it will be good and at other times it will be poor.

It's important to not rely your sense of self on something so temporary and often incorrect.


4. Never be ok in taking disrespect

If at some place you are not wanted, your just being there will not give you respect. Have boundaries, have your own dignity. For those who don't respect you, let them be, but you don't have to please them.at the expense of your respect.


5. Be always grateful

We have a lot in life to be grateful for. This attitude where we are constantly feeling good and thankful for things we have, we invite more good things as we feel happier and motivated.
