IWILL

Destroying each other during divorce is the worst. We as a couple decided to handle it with mutual respect. Our story

We were married for 8 years and while our marriage had a lot of love and mutual respect, it also had fights, toxicity and a lot of fights due to different life goals, priorities and visions of life.

While my husband wanted to be away working all the time and expected me to do the same, I wanted a healthy balance of family life and work... Also, my husband's family initially created so many problems that even when these were gone, the pain of these days was somewhere always imprinted.

In 2024, my husband started insulting me for my choices, for my lack of being driven and he said I had no ambition... And every other day there would be fights and disagreements.

My mother had just come out from the hospital and while my husband took care of my mother even more than me, his emotional understanding of me had become completely negative,

My husband was a great guy, but our goals were so different that one of us had to sacrifice. We were very unhappy, and life was becoming tougher every day. We were fighting more and destroying our past happy moments with each other.

We finally came to the understanding that nothing was reconciling in our lives and that separation, no matter how painful, was necessary to protect our happiness and the life ahead.

It was very painful—it was like a million hearts breaking within us. And yet we had to find a way not to hurt each other, not to destroy each other, not to let the bitterness of the current time break the positivity of a beautiful companionship!

We decided to SEEK IWILL THERAPY for going through this process in a healthy manner....

The therapist at IWill helped us reach a point of mutual agreement, handle our lives and kids with mutual respect, find ways to stay connected to each other's families, work through our mutual assets, and work through our potential future that may have love re-entering either of our lives.

We also ensured through therapy to heal ourselves, to not let bitterness inside each other ...

I also had individual sessions to deal with the grief, hurt, to learn way to re-imagine my life... I also had to find a way to work harder, to overcome loneliness and to stand true to my life AHEAD....

The result of this unlike other divorces was mutual respect, decency and familial respect being maintaned as well as easier and less stressful moving on and re-integration in life...

I am so thankful that we took this step of seeking therapy... A tough decision like divorce doesnt come easy... Therapy at IWill helped us making it lesser in pain and this was the best...
